Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures using various Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Meditech. Schedule appointments efficiently while managing multiple-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring optimal clinic flow. Verify insurance coverage and benefits using systems like Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks; communicate coverage details clearly to patients. Collect patient information accurately, including medical history and consent forms, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation review. Handle medical billing processes, including CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, Medicare claims, and insurance collections to facilitate timely reimbursements. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and recordkeeping. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service excellence; professional phone etiquette is a must.
