Dental Assistant Endodontic Specialty Office ABOUT THE JOB: Prairie Endodontics is a private specialty office located in Waukee, IA. The office is focused on excellent customer service and a positive patient experience. We are seeking a dental assistant and can be flexible with your schedule with full-time or part-time availability. POSITION SUMMARY: You will be in charge of various clinical operations including: Room preparation, room turnover, sterilization and disinfection of instruments, chairside assistance, and other practice support services such as assistance with incoming phone calls and management of inventory. AS OUR PERFECT MATCH, YOU WILL: Have experience assisting in a dental office Be dependable- our office and patients in pain depend on you! Be a self-starter- you wonât be micromanaged here Have excellent communication skills Prioritize patient rapport and outstanding customer service. REQUIREMENTS Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards. Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards. Must be comfortable seeing and able to maintain a professional demeanor and attitude while working around blood and unpleasant smells. Must be detail oriented in order to work efficiently in small spaces and maintain patient comfort. Must be flexible and understand that job duties may change from time to time and may be asked to assist in other areas of the office. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills by talking to others to convey information effectively.
