The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be motivated to learn, able to multi-task and take initiative in a busy environment. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures - Take and develop dental x-rays - Coronal polishing - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical charts - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment - Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Skills: - Pediatrics: Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Assisting: Proficient in assisting the dentist during various dental procedures - Infection control: Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, dental anatomy, infection control protocols and practices to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff - X-Ray: Proficient in taking and developing dental x-rays - Medical records: Ability to maintain accurate patient records, update medical charts, and patient confidentiality - Nitrous Oxide: Certificate preferred or willing to obtain BILINGUAL IS A PLUS!!
