Mind Over Roots is a growing endodontic practice in Bee Cave, TX. https://www.mindoverroots.com/ We have created a comforting, mindful, and homelike environment with brand new, state of the art equipment, aromatherapy, herbal teas, and comforting props to provide an ultimate low-anxiety, zen-like experience for our patients. We are looking for an assistant who is motivated, hard-working, detail-oriented, a quick-learner, and most importantly compassionate to our patients. We often see anxious patients and it is our goal to make patient comfort the top priority. We are also paperless and try to utilize the software for all tasks and communication. We will train you, but some knowledge of endodontics is a plus. We will always continue to grow and adapt to stay up with the latest evidence-based techniques and practices. With new techniques, we will always provide as much support and training as needed to make sure we are ready to provide the best service to our patients. Responsibilities and Duties: - Sterilization, maintenance, organization of instruments and equipment - Set up, clean, and restock rooms - Maintain office order and cleanliness - Chairside assist doctor and support patient needs throughout appointment - Welcome and seat patients; take vitals; radiographs; and prepare them for treatment - Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory - Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and trainings; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies Qualifications and Skills: - RDA certified and willing to complete N2O certification (will be covered) - Exception for Sterilization Technician position - Familiar with using dental software/charting and radiographs or willing to attend virtual training sessions - Excellent communication and people skills Benefits: - Paid CE courses Schedule: - 8 hour shift; 3-4 days a week Pay: Based on experience Supplemental: Bonus Pay Education: High School or equivalent (Preferred) Dental Assisting: 1-2 years (Preferred) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week Benefits: Continuing education credits On-the-job training Paid training Uniform allowance Work Location: In person
