Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant who is passionate about patient care and excited to grow with a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will: Have prior dental assisting experience (orthodontic experience preferred) Thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment Bring a positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to patient comfort and care Be reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Be eager to continue learning and advancing within the orthodontic field Responsibilities Include: Preparing rooms and instruments for orthodontic procedures Taking and developing dental x-rays as needed Assisting the orthodontist during patient care and treatment procedures Taking impressions, pouring models, applying sealants/fluoride, and related clinical tasks Reviewing patient charts and documentation Ensuring an excellent patient experience through communication, comfort, and professionalism Following HIPAA, OSHA, and all regulatory guidelines Supporting the flow and efficiency of the orthodontic schedule Requirements: Previous dental assisting experience required (orthodontic experience strongly preferred) High school diploma or equivalent Must register with the Office of Professional Regulations within 30 days of hire Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) X-ray certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment) At Timberlane, you’ll find more than just a job—you’ll find a team that invests in your success.
