Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, endodontics, and prosthodontics, with a focus on Cerec same-day restorations using 3D scanners and medical imaging technology Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) like Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate documentation of patient information, medical history, and treatment details in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team through four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting with familiarity in general dentistry and specialty areas such as prosthodontics or endodontics Strong knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety Ability to operate EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft confidently while maintaining HIPAA compliance for all medical documentation and records Excellent understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding practices Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and taking X-rays accurately Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering innovative dental solutions!
