Responsibilities include: Greeting and ensuring patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Properly and effectively document medical history and dental history at each visit.. Conduct preliminary examinations including periodontal charting, initial caries notation, and oral cancer screening. Preliminary diagnostic workups regarding caries, gingivitis and periodontitis Perform Dental Prophylaxis Tx. plan and perform Scaling and Root planing when needed Take X-rays (Certification Required) Perform detailed charting and notes for doctors' examination Treatment plan and document findings using Dentrix software. Provide extensive patient education in oral hygiene. Sterilization and knowledge of CDC and OSHA regulations Monitor supplies and document when supplies need to be ordered Maintain, stock and clean assigned operatory, sterilization area, and work areas. Work as a team member to care for our patients.
