EFDA - Dental Assistant - Moorehead Dentistry - Lebanon, OH

Here's an exciting opportunity! Moorehead Dentistry’s Blue Ash location is needing an energetic, excited, and hard working EFDA to join our team. We are an established, privately owned practice with a history of long term staff. We are hiring this long term full time role for Mondays-Thursdays. This opportunity is open to new grads of EFDA programs and also those with experience! We offer competitive pay, weekly bonus incentives, and opportunities to serve the community as a staff. Responsibilities Composite fillings placed after doctor prep (no amalgam) All general dentistry assisting, which can occur on a given day Prepare exam rooms for patients Provide instruction for treatment and post-treatment care Chart, take digital X-rays and photos Take intra oral scans (training included with on boarding) Provide technical assistance during dental procedures and examinations Maintain responsibility for the accuracy and confidentiality of patient's records Maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment Keep supplies stocked Remove temporary crowns and try in/adjust permanent crowns. Build rapport with patients Qualifications: Current X-Ray (Radiology) certification Self-motivated with the willingness to exceed patient expectations Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Strong oral and written communication skills Strict adherence to policies and regulations relating to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA Previous experience using computers (Dentrix/Open Dental/Eagle Soft, Dexis, MS Word, scanning documents) Desire to continually improve by learning new techniques, procedures, and processes.
