Led by Dr. Christa Stern and Dr. Paul Stern, our team utilizes state-of-the-art techniques to ensure comfortable and effective treatment for all patients. Summary We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our patient-centered dental team. Our ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and thrives in a supportive and upbeat team environment. This position consists of approximately 20-30 hours per week, 3-4 weekdays from 8:00-5:00. Experience is not required, but preferred. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Pay is determined based on experience and certification. Responsibilities Welcoming patients and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Acquiring dental radiographs (x-rays) Preparing and sterilizing instruments and treatment rooms Educating patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans Documenting patient information accurately and efficiently Performing basic lab tasks, making temporary crowns, etc. Ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols Preferred Experience Experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role. Knowledge of dental terminology and general dentistry practices. Familiarity with 3D scanners and other dental technologies. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
