Registered Dental Hygienist - Bowen Dental Studio - Fayetteville, AR

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment. This role offers an opportunity to work on a close-knit team with a focus on quality care for patients. We see patients of all ages. Candidates must be committed to upholding HIPAA regulations and infection control standards, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality at all times. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, while educating patients on oral hygiene practices Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review Perform all necessary assessments, including radiographs, periodontal charting, intraoral photographs, and scanning where appropriate Support pediatric dentistry procedures with specialized techniques for young patients Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Knowledge of Oryx is a plus but not required. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures Educate patients on dental terminology, oral health maintenance, and preventive care strategies Monitor patient comfort levels and address concerns to promote a positive experience Uphold all HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Skills Proficiency with dental software for documentation and records management Experience with pediatric dentistry, including pediatric-specific patient care techniques Experience working with anxious patients Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and dental procedures Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively Ability to maintain a positive attitude with both fellow team members and patients Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, and documentation review processes This position is integral to delivering high-quality dental care while fostering a welcoming environment for patients of all ages.
