Job Summary We are looking for a General Dentist to join our dental practice. This position involves providing a variety of dental services, including examinations, treatments, and patient consultations. The ideal candidate should posses strong clinical skills, a commitment to quality patient care, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing dental terminology and medical documentation standards. Lead and supervise dental staff, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Utilize dental imaging technology and medical imaging tools to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Manage complex procedures such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, and dental fabrication with precision and care. Maintain comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate documentation of patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care using clear medical terminology. Oversee the implementation of infection control measures and ensure the clinic adheres to all safety standards. Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency using software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development. Experience Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with a strong background in general dentistry and specialized fields such as pediatric dentistry, endodontics, or prosthodontics. Demonstrated proficiency with dental software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, infection control practices, and medical imaging techniques. Prior experience supervising or leading a dental team is highly desirable. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical documentation standards. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and other advanced procedures is essential for this leadership role.
