This dual-role position is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient interaction and clinical support. Responsibilities Front Desk Duties: Greet patients and create a welcoming first impression Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule Verify insurance, process billing, and collect payments Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and manage patient records Maintain accurate and organized front office documentation Clinical (RDA) Duties: Assist the dentist during procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take dental X-rays (as licensed) Provide patient education and post-op instructions Maintain infection control and safety standards Qualifications Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license (state-specific) Front desk or dental administrative experience preferred Knowledge of Dentrix preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 per week Benefits: 401(k) Experience: Registered Dental Assistant: 1 year (Preferred) Dental Front Desk: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Texas Registered Dental Assistant (Required) Ability to Commute: Plano, TX 75093 (Required) Work Location: In person
