Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) - Sparks Family Dental PLLC - Glastonbury, CT

Responsibilities: - Set up and Break down of clinical rooms - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Organizing supplies and tracking inventory - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Taking Radiographs as needed - Provide patient education and post-operative care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix - Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality - Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions Qualifications: - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - X-ray certification required - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Proficiency in Dentrix dental software systems - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
