This is an exciting opportunity to join a start-up practice and help us create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for children and their families. Responsibilities: Organize and sterilize dental instruments and treatment areas following OSHA standards Set up rooms and assist the dentist during procedures Collect and document accurate patient records Prepare instruments, clean treatment areas, and sterilize equipment Support patient flow by keeping treatment rooms neat and organized Take diagnostic x-rays using kid-friendly coaching techniques Perform routine equipment maintenance Take impressions and perform basic lab duties Provide oral hygiene instructions to children and caregivers Assist with maintaining dental supply inventory and ordering Multitask, take initiative, and anticipate the needs of the dentist and team Communicate clearly with patients and families while maintaining professionalism Maintain regular attendance and follow office policies and procedures Other dental assistant duties as assigned Qualifications: X-ray certified (required) Coronal polishing certificate (required) Prior dental assistant experience preferred, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn is just as important Friendly, cheerful, and comfortable working with children of all ages Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Strong multitasking and organizational skills Self-motivated and eager to grow with a new pediatric dental practice Why Join Us?
