Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Duties Assist dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to established protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming patient visits and follow-ups. Ensure the cleanliness of the dental operatory and waiting areas. Perform administrative tasks such as managing inventory of dental supplies. Skills Proficient in dental documentation and maintaining records. Knowledge of general dentistry practices. Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software for patient management. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures. Ability to understand and utilize dental terminology effectively. Competence in taking vital signs when necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
