Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials while maintaining aseptic technique Take digital dental radiographs (X-ray) and utilize 3D scanners when needed Record vital signs and medical history information accurately Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments and updating medical documentation Provide patient education on oral health, post-operative care, and dental terminology Assist with medical imaging and documentation for insurance or medical records purposes Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with current licensure Experience working in a dental clinic setting, preferably with pediatric dentistry or general dentistry procedures Proficiency with EMR systems including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or similar platforms Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control standards within dental practices Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety guidelines Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and aseptic procedures Experience with dental imaging technology such as 3D scanners is a plus Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role requires a motivated professional committed to delivering high-quality dental care.
