Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and certified Dental Hygienist who values teamwork and patient care. The ideal candidate brings a gentle touch, a warm bedside manner, and a desire to help our patients achieve long-term oral health. This is a great opportunity for a hygienist who enjoys a calm work atmosphere and is looking to grow professionally with a practice that truly values its team. Responsibilities: Perform routine and deep cleanings, including scaling and root planning Take dental X-rays as needed Assess patientsâ oral health and document findings Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-care practices Maintain accurate and thorough patient records Ensure all infection control procedures are strictly followed Collaborate with the dental team to support overall patient care Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment Requirements: Current certification and active state license as a Dental Hygienist in Texas CPR certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A team player with a kind, patient-centered approach Commitment to creating a calm and comfortable experience for every patient Eagerness to learn and grow with the practice Experience with Open Dental is a plus Schedule: Three days a week (Monday/Tuesday/Friday) One Saturday a Month Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) Supportive team culture with opportunities for professional development Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
