This position requires a strong understanding of orthodontic assisting practices and infection control protocols. What You'll Do: - Be the right-hand person to our orthodontists, providing assistance during various procedures. - Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols. - Set the stage by prepping treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready. - Manage patient records accurately, including medical records and treatment plans. - Be a smile ambassador by educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. - Utilize Wave software for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and billing processes. - Create a welcoming atmosphere for all patients. - Team up with our orthodontic crew to keep things running smoothly and patients grinning. What We're Looking For: - Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant is preferred; RDA is a plus. - Strong understanding of infection control protocols is essential. - Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and related practices is advantageous. - Proficient in Wave is a plus. - Communication skills that shine, both spoken and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records.
