Overview We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our cohesive, close-knit team at our busy, private practice in Amherst. Our practice has a long-standing presence in the community and is committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Job Responsibilities Provide compassionate, confident care with an excellent chairside manner Create a comfortable, respectful, and supportive experience for every patient Collaborate closely with clinical and front office teams to support comprehensive patient care Perform routine and advanced dental hygiene procedures with precision and professionalism Educate patients on oral health and preventive care Practice Highlights No evenings, weekends, or holidays, supporting a healthy work–life balance. Appointment times are designed to support quality care: 60-minute adult prophylaxis appointments 90-minute new patient appointments 90-minute / two-quadrant SRP appointments Single-column hygiene schedule with no assisted hygiene or double-booking, allowing full focus on patient care. A collaborative clinical philosophy where hygienists are respected as essential providers—not “tooth cleaners.” Our doctor values co-diagnosis, open communication, and clinical autonomy, and seeks a hygienist who is passionate about patient education and delivering individualized care.
