Responsibilities: Hospitality-focused for patient and family interactions for all correspondences (in-person, digital and phone). Greeting every family and littles one with a smile and warm welcome, and making sure they feel at home . Organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task without compromising work quality Assist the Pediatric Dentist chairside during exams and dental procedures, including restorative treatment, extractions, and behavior-guided care Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up trays, and ensuring all materials are ready prior to patient arrival Take and process dental radiographs in compliance with safety standards Help create a positive, calm, and engaging experience for children and parents using age-appropriate communication and behavior management techniques Educate parents and patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventative dental practices Accurately chart patient information, treatment notes, and clinical findings in the dental software system Maintain infection control protocols, including proper sterilization, room turnover, and OSHA compliance Assist with nitrous oxide procedures and monitor patients as directed by the dentist (if certified) Manage dental supplies by stocking operatories and alerting leadership of inventory needs Support front office or clinical team as needed to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care Ability to abide by scheduling rules, proactively fill the schedule accordingly. A candidate with Open Dental experience will be given high consideration. Assist in Dental and Medical Pre-Authorizations Experience presenting treatment plans and financial coordination including but not limited to explaining out of pocket costs, insurance coverage, etc Able to handle day to day stresses. Assist the dentist with other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of dental experience Bilingual (English and Spanish) will be highly considered A candidate that is dual-trained as Front Desk and Registered Dental Assistant will be highly considered, but not required Position Details: Compensation is negotiable based on experience and qualifications Initially hiring for 24-32 hours Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week Benefits: Continuing education credits Paid time off Work Location: In person
