About the Position: At Dr. Sofia Luque DDS, MS Pediatric Dental Practice , we are dedicated to creating a positive, fun, and stress-free dental experience for children and their families. Responsibilities and Duties: Assist the dentist during exams, hygiene visits, and restorative procedures Take and develop digital X-rays Maintain a clean and organized work environment Provide oral hygiene and diet instructions to patients and parents Ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional customer care Hand instruments, operate suction devices, and maintain a clear working area. Monitor patient comfort and behavior throughout the procedure. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment before and after each patient. Set up trays and materials for upcoming procedures. Maintain a clean, child-friendly operator environment. Schedule appointments and manage patient records. Document treatments and updating charts accurately. Communicate with parents about treatment plans and followâup needs. Qualifications and Requirements: Required: Current Texas RDA license (minimum 2 years experience) Proficiency in digital charting (Eaglesoft) Strong communication skills and ability to work with children Preferred: Coronal polishing and sealant certifications CPR and Nitrous Oxide monitoring certification Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus for many of our patients.
