Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, patient assessment, and infection control protocols, ensuring optimal oral health outcomes for our patients. The Dental Hygienist will collaborate closely with the dental team to deliver comprehensive care in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. Duties Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent oral disease Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review Take and develop medical imaging as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment options Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Review medical records and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy Support infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures Monitor patient comfort during procedures and address any concerns promptly Collaborate with dentists on patient care plans, including medical coding and documentation review Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and medical terminology Familiarity with dental assisting procedures, including chairside assisting and medical imaging techniques Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, medical coding, and documentation review processes This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional team committed to delivering high-quality patient care while fostering your growth in the dental field.
