Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Prepare and maintain dental materials, such as composite fillings and impression materials - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring impressions and trimming models - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records - Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe dental environment Requirements: - Knowledge or experience in using electronic health record systems - Proficient in assisting with dental procedures and familiar with dental terminology - Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is a plus - Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting - Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information - Basic knowledge of anatomy and oral health conditions -X-ray certification preferred Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
