Franklin Dental is a growing family practice located in Franklin, WI for over 30 years with a focus on families and patients local to the area. We are seeking a part time hygienist (16-20hrs/week) to help alleviate our ever-growing patient base's needs. Apply today to join our close-knit team of dental professionals! ```Duties:``` - Perform dental hygiene procedures such as teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as needed - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment ```Qualifications:``` - Valid Dental Hygiene license in Wisconsin - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program - Proficient in using dental software systems such as Dentrix or similar programs - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental procedures - Familiarity with medical coding and insurance billing processes - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Ability to perform basic dental assisting tasks when needed - Knowledge of infection control protocols and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
