Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Kewaskum, WI
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Dental Hygienist to join our team in both our Slinger and Kewaskum locations. As a key member of our practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality preventative dental care, building long-term patient relationships, and supporting our dentists in diagnosing and treating oral health issues. You will be responsible for conducting initial screenings, performing thorough cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and highly skilled in recognizing early signs of dental and gum conditions. Key Responsibilities Greet and prepare patients for their dental examination Conduct oral health assessments and collect medical/dental histories Identify oral conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis Perform thorough dental cleanings including plaque and tartar removal Apply protective treatments such as fluoride or sealants Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care Take dental X-rays when required Maintain accurate patient records and dental charts Ensure all instruments are properly sterilized and maintained Required Qualifications Diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist Knowledge of dental health and safety regulations (HIPAA, OSHA) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a compassionate and patient-focused mindset Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
