Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Nashville, TN
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain a sterile and organized work environment by adhering to infection control protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for managing patient information and appointments. Support four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
