Private upscale general dental office in Summerlin, looking for friendly, highly motivated, and professional Dental Assistant. M-TH 9am-5pm. Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task. Must dress professionally and maintain a professional appearance at all times. Team player. Responsible. Dependable. High personal standards and values. Excellent patient care and attention to detail. Ability to set up and prepare dental equipment and instruments. Knowledge of dental patient screening and medical history documentation. Prepares and sterilizes instruments and equipment. Takes dental x-rays. Comprehensive knowledge about dental treatments. Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry. Undertake lab tasks as instructed. Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Must have knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis. Trios or other scanning experience for crown/bridge. Answer phones and make patient appointments when needed. Verify insurance and check claims when needed.
