Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Hempstead, NY
We are currently seeking a friendly, self-motivated dental assistant to add to our team. We have full time positions available.. Dental Assistants work side-by-side with dentists, and they also have a variety of administrative duties in a dental office. They are sometimes responsible for scheduling appointments, keeping records and taking X-rays of patients' mouths. Dental Assistants are also responsible for sterilizing dental equipment and making sure that patients are comfortable and prepare patients for dental procedures. Must be proficient in English and Spanish. Assistants must be detail-oriented and exhibit good communication skills because they will be working directly with the public. Must be well spoken, energetic, friendly and proficient in English and Spanish. The dental practice is located one block from Hempstead LIRR train station.
