Hiring immediately - X-ray certification preferred Our dental office is looking for a competent Dental Assistant and Front Desk Coordinator who will make the dentistâs office more efficient and pleasant for patients. Current office hours Monday - Thursday, 8 - 5 p.m. Dental Assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible Youâll ensure excellent customer service and contribute to the team's efforts in running the office smoothly Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Welcome customers in the dental office and manage front desk duties including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, collecting copays and verifying dental insurance Handling incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Excellent communication and people skills Experience considered a plus - Registered Dental Assistant - RDA - Dental Front Office Summary As a Dental Assistant with X-ray certification, you will be integral to providing high-quality patient care in a dental practice. Reporting to the lead dentist, your core responsibilities will include chairside assisting, sterilization, and post-operative care, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Your proficiency in dental terminology and aseptic techniques will enhance the overall patient experience. Additionally, your premium skills in EMR systems and X-ray procedures will support efficient practice operations.
