FLEXIBLE HOURS - WILLING TO HIRE FULL DAYS / OR HALF DAYS Qualifications: Education- Valid New York State Dental Hygienist license CPR Certification BLS Certification AED Certification Responsibilities: Friendly family practice looking for a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to provide preventative oral care under the Dentist(s) supervision - Clean patients' teeth and examine their mouths for signs of damage, gingivitis and other diseases - Ultimately, youâll promote good oral health and help patients with self care - As a Dental Hygienist, you will clean teeth and examine patient's oral areas for signs of oral diseaseYou will also record and review patient(s) medical history - In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in accordance with HIPAA, New York State Department of Health and the American Dental Association (ADA) - Cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins with dental instruments - Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentistMaintaining and sterilizing dental equipment - Applying fluorides and other cavity preventing agents to prevent dental decay Job Type: Part-time Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Work Location: In person
