Dental Assistant - - Fort Bragg, CA

Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental X-rays (Once trained and certified) - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Record medical and dental histories in the patient’s chart - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform dental receptionist duties as needed Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience a plus - X-Ray certification a plus - Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology - Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for dental prosthetics is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing is a plus As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the dentist in providing quality dental care to our patients.
