Dental Assistant Job Description: Are you an outgoing individual with a passion for providing exceptional patient care? We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll provide direct support to our dentists and ensure our patients receive top-notch care throughout their visit. Responsibilities: Assist dentists and hygienists during various procedures and treatments. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after dental treatments. Take radiographs (x-rays). Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Handle administrative tasks such lab orders, supply orders, and managing patient information. Facilitate referrals to other dental specialists as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient experience. Requirements: Availability for full-time work, with a schedule of 4 days per week (30-34 hours/week) Prior experience as a dental assistant is required . Or if you graduated from a Dental Assistant Program. Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) is a plus, but not required. Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach. Strong organizational abilities to manage patient records and treatment plans efficiently. Familiarity with Eaglesoft dental software is a plus, but not required.
