Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Wintersville, OH
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant with prior experience to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Experience with Dentrix is preferred. Duties Assist the dentist during clinical procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Take and process dental X-rays and scanning Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software Sterilize and organize instruments in accordance with infection control standards Provide excellent patient care and chairside support Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment Support front desk operations, as needed Maintain clinical supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is functioning properly for seamless daily operations Experience Previous dental assisting experience required Proficiency with Dentrix practice management software Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, scanning and terminology Current dental assistant certification and X-ray certification (per state requirements) Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and effectively; certification in radiography required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
