We are currently seeking a motivated, flexible, and friendly Front Office / Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role —perfect for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and making a real impact both clinically and administratively. Position Overview As a Front Office / Dental Assistant, you will support both the clinical back office and front desk operations . This role requires adaptability, professionalism, and a positive attitude when working with children, parents, and team members. Key Responsibilities Front Office Duties: Greet patients and families with warmth and professionalism Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow Verify insurance, collect payments, and explain basic treatment plans Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance Assist with recall scheduling and appointment confirmations Dental Assistant Duties: Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take digital X-rays (if certified) Help manage behavior guidance and patient comfort Support clinical workflow to ensure on-time schedules Qualifications & Skills Prior experience in dental assisting, front office, or both preferred Pediatric or orthodontic experience is a plus (but not required) RDA certification and X-ray license preferred (not required for front office–heavy candidates) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented, reliable, and adaptable Comfortable working with children and families What We Offer Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Flexible part-time or full-time scheduling Supportive, team-focused work environment Opportunities for training, cross-training, and growth Modern, well-run pediatric dental practice Why Work With Us?
