Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring aseptic techniques and infection control standards are met Operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices safely and effectively Take vital signs and medical history of patients to ensure their safety during procedures Manage patient records using Eaglesoft while ensuring HIPAA compliance Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort Capture high-quality X-ray images while adhering to radiation safety protocols Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health practices Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in accordance with infection control guidelines Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is required Proficiency with Eaglesoft is highly desirable Experience performing X-ray procedures and utilizing 3D scanners or other advanced imaging technology is a plus This position offers an engaging environment where your skills can contribute directly to patient health outcomes while fostering professional growth within the field of dental assisting.
