Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Rohnert Park, CA

Position Overview Weâre looking for a motivated and reliable Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for us is positive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a supportive environment that values teamwork, growth, and excellent patient care. Youâll work having one column of patients, which consists of a variety of procedures, including prophies, perio maintenances, and SRPs. Additional tasks include taking dental x-rays, sterilizing instruments, and turning over your room. We also have dental assistants to support you through daily tasks when they are availanle. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth Take dental X-rays as prescribed Conduct preliminary oral health assessments and document findings Screen patients for oral diseases such as gingivitis, periodontal disease, and oral cancer Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols Provide patient comfort and address questions or concerns during visits Stay current with continuing education and dental hygiene best practices Qualifications Current California RDH license required Current CPR/BLS certification Experience with digital charting and X-rays preferred Excellent communication and multitasking skills Professional, dependable, and eager to learn Spanish speaking preferred but not required Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Paid time off and 7 paid holidays Continuing education opportunities In-house dental benefits for employee and their immediate family.
