Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Assess patient needs through thorough patient assessments and medical/dental histories while maintaining accurate medical documentation. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans clearly to patients and team members. Operate dental imaging equipment and interpret results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Follow infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care delivery. Maintain detailed medical records using practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote ongoing wellness. Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations including HIPAA and OSHA standards for patient privacy and safety. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry preferred. Hands-on experience with dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Familiarity with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy related to the oral cavity, infection control procedures, and medical imaging techniques. Previous experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic or healthcare environment is preferred. Strong understanding of dental fabrication processes and medical documentation standards. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively across diverse populations.
