Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Mendon, MA
Locations: Mendon â Tuesdays Milford â Mondays Franklin â Fridays Northborough â Thursdays Job Overview Passion Dental is seeking a self-motivated, knowledgeable, and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. This is a travel position , and the hygienist will rotate between Mendon, Milford, Franklin, and Northborough throughout the week. Competitive pay with bonus opportunities Growth potential and mentoring Paid time off and professional development assistance Work in a collaborative, energetic environment Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to remove plaque and tartar Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, and take vital signs Provide preventive care (prophylaxis, fluoride, sealants) and diagnostic care (digital intraoral and panoramic radiographs) Perform NSPT, full-mouth debridement, and periodontal maintenance Administer local anesthesia (with certification and under supervision) Place locally-administered adjunctive periodontal therapy Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, caries prevention, and periodontal health Support pediatric dentistry cases with specialized care tailored for children and adolescents Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems Adhere to OSHA, CDC, and state dental board regulations Assist with sterilization and occasional front desk duties Qualifications: Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in MA Certification for local anesthesia preferred Strong communication and patient education skills Ability to work independently and travel between locations Passion for pediatric care and preventive dentistry Schedule: Monday: Milford Tuesday: Mendon Thursday: Northborough Friday: Franklin Work Location: In person across four offices.
