Dental Assistant (Interested in Orthodontics)

We are a friendly, patient-focused dental practice in Pasadena seeking a qualified Registered Dental Assistant / DA who is eager to learn and grow in orthodontics!

This is a great opportunity for an experienced assistant who wants to expand their skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Prior orthodontic experience is a plus, but not required as we are happy to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during dental and orthodontic procedures

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

• Take digital X-rays, impressions, CBTC scan and photos

• Scan with iTero for Invisalign

• Provide excellent chairside support and patient education

• Maintain accurate patient records

• Help ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• RDA or DA certification (California compliant)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented

• Genuine interest in learning orthodontic procedures and techniques

• Ability to work well in a team and provide excellent patient care
