Duties - Assist dentists during examinations and treatments - Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments - Take dental x-rays and CBCT - Maintain patient records and schedule appointments - Provide post-operative instructions to patients - Maintenance of dental equipment Skills - Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend software is preferred - Excellent typing skill, good at learning new technology - Proficiency in medical imaging techniques CBCT, pano, digital x-rays - Excellent interpersonal and team communication - Knowledge of using digital scanners - Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures - Experience working in a dental clinic environment - Ability to assist with orthodontics, periodontics, and general dentistry procedures - Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and experience with pediatric patients - Understanding of medical coding for billing purposes - CEREC design and milling knowledge Qualifications - RDA certificate - CPR certificate Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Continuing education credits Dental insurance Employee discount Financial planning services Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Profit sharing Ability to Commute: Sunnyvale, CA 94087 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Sunnyvale, CA 94087: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
