Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform dental charting and update patient records - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow Skills: - Proficient in dental coding and documentation - Familiarity with medical records management - Ability to perform patient assessments and provide appropriate care We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental coding, documentation, and records management. They should also possess excellent patient assessment skills and have experience working with pediatric patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist during dental procedures, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking x-rays, providing chairside assistance, educating patients on oral hygiene, updating patient records, and occasionally scheduling appointments. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
