Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures including restorative, oral surgery,endodontic, prosthodontic. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly Take X-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control standard. Obtain vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient care Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions Maintain aseptic technique throughout all clinical procedures to prevent infection Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records as needed. Requirements Certification as a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure Proven experience in dental assisting within a clinical setting. Proficiency with dental software systems including Dentrix. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with medical imaging techniques such as X-ray technology and 3D scanning equipment Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork within the dental practice Ability to work effectively in general dentistry as well as specialized areas like endodontics or prosthodontics This position provides an engaging work environment where your skills directly contribute to improving patients’ oral health.
