Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Mesa, AZ
Seeking Thursday/Friday dental hygienist for small established general dentistry practice.
East Mesa practice of 25 years with 1 doctor, 4 operatories. We have a loyal longtime patient base. NO selling! 200+ 5-star Google reviews.
Single-column hygiene, with 1-hour appointments (1-hour lunch). Specific patient hours: 10-5 Thursdays, 8-12 Fridays.
Must be knowledgeable on Dexis/Dentrix. We use Kavo handheld X-ray units. AZ hygiene license and X-ray certification required.
Pay DOE and will see a raise after 6 months if both parties are happy.

Responsibilities:
Gather patient information and health background
Take x-rays when necessary
Prepare the work area for procedures
Clean and polish patients’ teeth and gums
Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits
Update patient records
Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
Restock treatment areas
Qualifications:
Associate degree or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
Current state license and x-ray certification
Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
Excellent communication skills
