Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, including sterilization of instruments and adherence to aseptic techniques. Take and record vital signs, medical history, and other pertinent information for patient documentation. Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and equipment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when necessary.
