Smile Surfers is seeking a part-time dental assistant for our office in Richland, WA. Are you looking for an amazing dental family to join? Duties/Responsibilities Welcome and greet patients Update and maintain patient records Take X-rays and intraoral photos of patients Preforms prophylaxis Present treatment to patients/parents Assist clinicians during dental procedures Sterilize instruments, clean rooms and ensure all infection control policies are being followed Prepare operatories for patient visits Required Skills/Abilities Ability to move fast and work as a team Excellent customer service skills Enjoys working with children Ability to engage with families Knowledge of dental terminology Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent WA State Dental Assistant Registration CPR trained Basic knowledge of practice management software 2+ years in dental assisting is preferred but not required Bilingual (Spanish/English Preferred) Physical Demands Is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms Is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Has the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus. Sometimes moves boxes and files weighing up to 25 pounds across the office for various needs Works in moderate noise Salary Range $18 - $25/hr (Dependent on Experience) Does this describe you?
