Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Lutz, FL
We are seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our busy, well-established dental practice in Lutz, Florida. This is a full-time clinical role for a candidate who is professional, reliable, and confident working in a fast-paced environment. Weâre looking for someone who is already licensed in the state of Florida and has the skills to step confidently into a clinical role. While weâre happy to support continued learning, this position requires a solid foundation in chairside assisting and a readiness to handle a variety of procedures, including implant-related cases. Schedule: Full-time, MondayâFriday Focus: General dentistry with a high volume of implant-related procedures Minimum Requirements: Active Florida Dental Assisting License (Required) Minimum 1 year of chairside experience Proficient in digital X-rays, operatory setup/breakdown, sterilization, and documentation Ability to follow clinical protocols and work efficiently under pressure Punctual, team-oriented, and able to take direction Preferred Qualifications: Experience assisting with implants, extractions, and other surgical procedures Nitrous and radiology certification Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required Primary Responsibilities: Provide chairside support during general and surgical procedures Maintain cleanliness and readiness of operatories Document clinical information accurately in the patient chart Assist with sterilization and inventory as needed Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly wage based on experience Paid time off and holidays Professional, well-organized working environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Ability to Commute: Lutz, FL 33548 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Lutz, FL 33548: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
