Oral Surgery Dental Assistant - Smile Brands Inc. - San Antonio, TX

Overview: In this role, you’ll be an important member of the clinical team, working alongside GPs and other Specialty Clinicians dedicated to serving patients. You’ll be supporting many sides of the practice, greeting and guiding patients, and helping out across the office as needed. Schedule (days/hours): Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri Responsibilities: Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies Improving oral health, solving dental challenges, and bettering smiles every day Travel between assigned offices within the market Qualifications: Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners Current CPR/BLS certification Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Minimum 1 year of oral surgery assisting experience reqiured Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between offices in the market Compensation: 22.00 - 25.00 About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
