Part-Time Dental Hygienist needed (Mon/Fri + Wed) at Exceptional Private Practice!

Our high quality family dental practice is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist personally committed to excellence for an opportunity to join our dedicated team. 2 days needed: Monday and Wednesday OR Wednesday and Friday.

Who We Are
Well-established private practice established in 1980 and passed from father to daughter in 2017. Known and trusted for patient-centered care and excellence in restorative dentistry. Top-notch team culture and support. One doctor, two assistants, and two hygienists working daily out of four independent operatories. We encourage patients to achieve and maintain excellent oral health, with no pressure "sales" or commission-based bonuses.

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for an energetic, easy-going and caring individual with excellent communication skills and a desire to build relationships with patients that help improve their oral health over time. Necessary skills include hospitality, good time management, organization, and attention to detail. Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RDH and comfortable around dogs required (check out our website to see our amazing comfort dog Guinness)! Knowledge of Dentrix is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is experienced with a family practice, or looking to get out of the hustle culture of a corporate office.

Responsibilities
-Ensure each patient has an exceptional experience.
-Scrub charts for the next work day, schedule next cleaning appointment.
-Verify medical history and other intake forms are completed prior to seating patient.
-Complete prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, or SRP procedures as scheduled (1 hour blocks).
-Take radiographs and complete periodontal probing as scheduled.
-Give patients feedback on their oral health, as well as customized OHI for their needs.
-Apply sealants or Curodont when time permits.
-Complete clinical notes.
-Clean and sterilize instruments.
-Turn over room for next patient.
-Be present for quarterly team meetings.
-Participate as a member of a team.
-Other tasks as assigned.
