Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Advanced Dental | Berlin & Cromwell, CT Advanced Dental is a privately owned, patient-centered general dental practice with two locations in Berlin and Cromwell, CT . Position Overview We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienists to join our team: One full-time hygienist (4 days/week) Hygiene appointments are one hour , allowing ample time to provide thorough, patient-focused care. You will have the instruments, autonomy, and support needed to practice at a high level. Our hygienists work independently throughout much of the day, with assistance and doctor support readily available as needed. For procedures such as scaling and root planing (SRP) , hygienists are given the flexibility to schedule the time needed to complete treatment properlyâwithout rushing. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive preventive care, periodontal maintenance, and SRP Conduct thorough oral health assessments and charting Take and interpret digital radiographs Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive strategies Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to infection control protocols Collaborate with dentists and team members to provide exceptional patient care Qualifications Active Connecticut Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license Strong clinical skills with attention to detail Professional, patient-focused communication style Dependable, organized, and self-motivated Experience preferred; strong new graduates with the right mindset are welcome to apply Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Schedule We work eight-hour shifts without a formal break to allow team members to get home to their families sooner. However, there is typically downtime between patients to catch up, rest, and reset. Our strong team of dental assistants is always available to support when needed. Available Shifts: Monday: 12:00 PM â 7:00 PM Tuesday: 12:00 PM â 7:00 PM Wednesday: 10:00 AM â 5:00 PM Thursday: 7:00 AM â 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM â 7:00 PM ( or full day 7:00 AM â 7:00 PM) Friday: 7:00 AM â 2:00 PM Team members arrive 30 minutes prior to each shift for office opening duties and a morning huddle.
