WANTED - Part-time dental assistant 20 to 30 hours per week, Monday through Thursday. No evenings, no Fridays and no weekends. Well-established, private, general dental practice. Three to five years experience minimum. We are a digital dental practice and applicants should be versed in digital dental records, digital x-rays and intra-oral digital scanning. We only consider applicants with formal dental assistant training and those who possess a dental radiology certificate. Current BLS, HIPAA and OSHA training a plus, but will provide training for the ride individual. An ideal position for a parent with school-aged children. Responsibilities include; chairside assisting, setting up and breaking down treatment rooms, sterilization of instruments, digital and physical impressions, dental radiography and other common dental assistant tasks in relationship to restorative dentistry, crown and bridge, removable prosthetics, examinations and some extractions.
